Markus works after hours grading papers at his desk when a student drops in. “You’re not supposed to be here,” he says with apprehension. She smiles at him, almost with pity. “I’m your student, aren’t I? Makes sense that I would be here.” But he’s right. She’s not supposed to be there, and she doesn’t take no for an answer.
